FBC Safety Plan:
Currently, the Gatherings and Events Order for Interior Health Authority permits worship services to happen without restriction. This means that:
- The capacity for our services is 50% of our fire code (~150 people)
- Singing is permitted
- Gathering pre and post service is permitted
There are still guidelines in place regarding communicable disease prevention, as dictated WorkSafeBC and the BCCDC. We want to work together with our community to protect one another, especially those in our community who are vulnerable or at risk. That is why we ask everyone who would like to enter our building to please adhere to the following:
- We ask that everyone over the age of 12 years wears a mask, even while singing, except for those whose health conditions do not permit them to do so.
- Please be conscious and respectful of anyone's desire for social distancing.
- We will still be making a list of attendees for contact tracing purposes.
- People who are sick with cold/flu symptoms should lovingly not attend, and be a part of our services through our livestream online. We ask anyone who feels sick to please stay home. Anyone can join us online on our YouTube page to stream a Sunday service.
